Shadow Inklings by Kevin Roque
Wielding pen and ink, Kevin peppers his paper with thousands of tiny pinprick dots, like inverted stars in the Negative Sky. They coalesce on top of each other until slowly emerges a Gestalt creature or design, which somehow seems to predate your knowledge of its existence; something that was always there, hiding in plain sight deep within the canvas until you happened to notice it.
